ETNOBOTANI TUMBUHAN OBAT MASYARAKAT SUKU KAYUAGUNG DI DESA PEMATANG PANGGANG KECAMATAN MESUJI KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR
Ethnobotany is the study of direct relationship between humans and plants in their traditional use. The Kayuagung tribe community in Pematang Panggang Village Mesuji District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency still uses plants that have been passed down from generation to generation. The purpose of this study was to identify and identify the types of plants with medicinal properties, to know the habitus, plant organs, and sources of medicinal plants, to know how to process and to use plants as medicine, know the typical medicinal plants used by the Kayuagung tribe in Pematang Panggang Village. This research was conducted from February 2020 to June 2020. Sampling and plant date were taken in Pematang Panggang Village Mesuji District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study used a descriptive survey method and field observations carried out by interviewing 4 traditional healers and 1 general public. The results showed 94 types of plants from 48 families. The most widely used family for medicine was Euphorbiaceae (8.7%). Medicinal plant habitus that are widely used are in the from of herbaceous (38.3%) as many as 36 types of plants, plant organs that are widely used are leaves (61.8%) as many as 58 types of plants with the largest source of gain in the from of cultivation or planting (61.7%) as many as 58 types of plants. Processing of medicinal plants at most by boiling (54.2%) as many as 51 types of plants, and how to use medicinal plants most widely used is drinking (65%) as many as 61 types of plants.
