IDENTIFIKASI SEBARAN KONDISI KESEHATAN TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT DI PT. ANDIRA AGRO BERDASARKAN METODE KLASIFIKASI NORMALIZED DIFFERENCE VEGETATION INDEX BERBASIS CITRA LANDSAT 8
Plant health is important because it can increase crop productivity and sustainability of crop production. Oil palm plantations are a large area so that in the observation of palm oil health can use satellite image sensing. Identification of vegetation can be done quickly by digital interpretation of imagery using NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) transformation. This study aims to assess the identidication condition of palm oil plants using the value of NDVI method based on Landsat 8 image data and also to find out the accuracy of coconut health assessment. Palm oil based on Landsat 8 image. This research was conducted at PT. Andira Agro, Banyuasin Regency. The study was conducted from April 2021 to June 2021. The study used the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) classification method based on Landsat 8 imagery with composite band 562. The highest total chlorophyll content was in 1999 at 26.13 mg /L and the lowest total chlorophyll content value was in 2008 at 16.67 mg / L. So that the results of the health value of palm oil plants in PT. Andira Agro which is divided into three classes shows low health in the range of values ranging from 0,11 to 0,22. Normal health ranges from 0,22 to 0,42. Meanwhile, moderate health ranges from 0.42 to 0,72. The value of the prediction results and the results of field measurements have a positive relationship.
