ANALISIS MARJIN PEMASARAN CABAI RAWIT HIJAU DARI TINGKAT PETANI PAGARALAM HINGGA PASAR INDUK JAKABARING DAN PASAR KUTO DI KOTA PALEMBANG SUMATERA SELATAN
This purpose of this reseacrh to: 1) To explain Green Cayenne Pepper Marketing Channels in Jakabaring Main Market 2) To explain Inhibiting Factors to Marketing of Green Cayenne Peppers in the Palembang Area 3) To Analyze the Factors that Affect Marketing Margins and Knowing the Marketing Margins in Each Marketing Channels. This research was conducted for 2 mounths, starting from October-November 2019. The research method used is a survey method, namely a method that is carried out directly to the location and conducting interviews with the object. The marketing channels pattern that occur in the marketing of green chili peppers in the Palembang area are as follows:
Pattern 1 : Farmer Middleman Wholesaler Retailer Consumer End
Pattern 2 : Farmer Wholesaler Retailer Consumer End
And the results of research on barriers that occur at the level of farmer, middleman, wholesaler and retailer, namely : the number of sellers and buyers, product conditions, wheater or not it is easy to exit the market, the ability to influence prices and market information. The results of the marketing margin analysis show that there are differences in the acquisition of marketing margins between each marketing agency, namely: (1) at the farmer level by utilizing the services of middleman, obtaining a marketing margin of Rp. 5.040,15, where as by selling directly to wholesalers, a margin of Rp. 9.240,27 (2) at the middleman level, a margin of Rp. 4.200,27 (3) at the wholesaler level, a margin of Rp. 5.010,23 (4) at the retailer level, a margin of Rp. 5.824,64
