PENGARUH INSEKTISIDA SEVIN TERHADAP LAJU KONSUMSI DAN DAYA CERNA CACING TANAH (Pontoscolex corethrurus Fr. Mull)
The use of insecticides sevin in the field of agriculture is suspected to cause soil pollution. The insect has a negative influence on the life of non-target organisms in the soil such as earthworms Pontoscolex corethrurus Fr.Mull dikarnakan insecticide sevin is a group of carbamat with active substances karbaril where the way it works inhibits the activity of enzymes acetylcholinestra (AChE) in the peripheral somatic and autonomic nervous system that affects the taster sense and smell of earthworm Pontoscolex corethrurus Fr.Mull in addition sprayed insecticidal residues affect the quantity and quality of earthworm feed. The quality related to taste, smell, and chemical composition causes earthworms less like to consume feed so it will affect the rate of consumption of earthworms Pontoscolex corethrurus Fr.Mul in addition insecticide sevin is a stomach or stomach toxin that can damage the digestive system so as to affect the digestibility of earthworms Pontoscolex corethrurus Fr.Mull. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of administering various concentrations of insecticide sevin to the rate of consumption and digestibility of earthworms Pontoscolex corethrurus Fr.Mull. This study was conducted in February 2021, using a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 6 treatments, with feed 100 mg of cow feces with various concentrations of insecticide sevin 0% ; 0,1 % ; 0,2 % ; 0,3% ; 0.4 % and 0.5 % each treatment is done 5 repetitions. Based on the results of the study it is known that insecticides sevin from various concentrations have a real effect on the rate of feed consumption and digestibility of earthworms Pontoscolex corethrurus Fr.Mull. Administration of less insecticides sevin with a concentration of 0.1% better than other concentrations, because the higher the insecticide sevin given will affect the rate of consumption of earthworms and digestibility, the higher the concentration of insecticides sevin given the lower the rate of consumption but the higher the digestibility. The conclusion of this study was the highest consumption rate at a concentration of 0 % namely 0.044 ± 0.003 g / g body weight / day and experienced a significant decrease in concentration given with the lowest value at a concentration of 0.5% namely 0.020 ± 0.002 g / g body weight / day). The lowest digestibility at a concentration of 0% is 49,816 ± 1,106% and has increased significantly higher concentration given with the highest value at a concentration of 0.5% which is 87,006 ± 2,108%.
