The Bangka slow loris (Nycticebus bancanus) is one of eight known species of slow loris and is endemic to Bangka Island. The high level of illegal slow loris trade and the loss of natural habitat due to forest conversion are a serious threat to them. IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Natural Resources) categorizes the Bangka slow loris as Critically Endangered (CR) and CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) makes the entire genus Nycticebus with Appendix 1 status. One of the efforts in conservation that can be done is through the Alobi Animal Rescue Center (PPS) as a Special Conservation Institution. While in PPS, managers must pay attention to and fulfill the principles of animal welfare as regulated in the Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Nomor 22 Tahun 2019 tentang Lembaga Konservasi. The research was carried out in February – July 2021 with field observations in March – April 2021. Located at the Alobi Wildlife Rescue Center, Kacang Pedang village, Gerunggang sub-district, Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung. The stages of the research carried out included field observations, interviews, and data analysis. The conclusion of this study is in accordance with the Peraturan Direktur Jendral Perlindungan Hutan dan Konservasi Alam No.6 Tahun 2011 and field observations of five management aspects, namely the level of animal welfare for two individual slow lorises in PPS Alobi obtained an average rating of 78.31 and 77.91 with the assessment criteria is Good. The highest rating is on the aspect of natural behavior/free to express natural behavior and the lowest rating is on the aspect of health/free from pain, injury, and disease.
