OPTIMASI TEMPERATUR DAN WAKTU KARBONISASI TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK BIOBRIKET DARI SABUT KELAPA DENGAN CAMPURAN KULIT PISANG KEPOK DAN TAPIOKA
Biobriquettes from coconut fiber have been made with a mixture of kapok banana peels and tapioca with variation in temperature and carbonization time to optimum carbonitation tempertur and time and calorific value at the best condition. Coconut fiber were carbonized using a furnace with variations in temperature and carbonization time, variations in carbonization temperature used were 400"℃" , 500"℃" and 600"℃" while the variations in carbonization time were 30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute. After the carbonization process, coconut fiber chorcoal was obtained, then crushed and sieved using a 100 mesh sieve. After the process, the charcoal is mixed with tapioca adhesive and mashed kapok banana peel then printed and pressed. Testing the caracteristics of bio briquetts by analyzing moisture content using an oven, volatile metter content and ash content using an furnace, carbon content. Testing of brio briquettes characteristic refers to SNI 01-6235-2000. The best treatment was obtained n bio briquettes with a carbonization temperature variation of 400"℃" and carbonization time of 90 minutes, with a moisture content of 8.2045%, ash content of 10.0948%, 58435,44 Cal/g. Based on the brio briquett characterization date, the moisture content of volatile metter content, carbon content and the calorific value have met the SNI 01-6235-2000.
