HIDRODEOKSIGENASI CPO MENJADI BIOGASOLINE DENGAN KATALIS BENTONIT Zr/PHOSPHIDA
Bentonite Zr/Phosphida catalyst had been prepared for Hydrodeoxygenation of CPO into biogasoline. Bentonite was pillared using zirconium phosphide at various concentrations of zirconium phosphide i.e. 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 meq/g to improve its catalytic activity on hydrodeoxygenation of CPO. The CPO hydrodeoxygenation process is carried out a cylindrical reactor which was fed with hydrogen gas. Hydrodeoxygenation products were analyzed using GC-MS. The GC-MS results showed that the highest percentage of biogasoline was when using a Zr/Phosphide bentonite catalyst with a concentration of 2 meq/g with a percentage of 37.83%. The lowest percentage of biogasoline is found in bentonite catalyst Zr/Phosphida 8 meq/g with a percentage of 30,80%. The catalyst was characterized using XRD, FT-IR, SEM-EDS and acidity analysis. The characterization results of XRD were marked by a 2θ angle shift between Na-Bentonite and Zr/Phosphide bentonite, namely 19.75° (d = 4.492) and 28.66° (d = 3,112) to 19.93° (d = 4.452) and 26.93° (d = 3.31). The wavenumber of 3369.5 cm- is a typical peak on the Zr/Phosphide bentonite catalyst and shows the P-OH group present in the ZrP structure. The pores of Na-Bentonite are uniform than the bentonite Zr/Phosphide catalyst. The composition of Na-Bentonite shows on Zr whiles pillared bentonite has 4.67%, as well as P 6.45% after pillarization. Bentonite catalyst Zr/Phosphida at variation of 2 meq/g has potential in the process of catalyzing CPO into biogasoline.
