ANALISIS PERUBAHAN TUTUPAN LUASAN MANGROVE DI TAMAN NASIONAL BERBAK SEMBILANG, BANYUASIN, SUMATERA SELATAN
Changes in mangrove area in Berbak Sembilang National Park occur continuously over time, so it is necessary to study changes in the area of mangrove ecosystems in Berbak Sembilang National Park on a regular basis. One technique to analyze changes in the area of mangrove ecosystems in Berbak Sembilang National Park is using Remote Sensing Technology Landsat satellite imagery with Supervised classification method by analyzing the mangrove canopy cover from the image using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) algorithm and canopy cover from below using Gap Light Analysis Mobile Application (GLAMA). This research was carried out in October 2020, namely data collection for Ground Check in Berbak Sembilang National Park and continued image data processing. Changes in mangrove area over a 30 year period from 1990 to 2020 saw a reduction of 0.86 percent, from 95,407.30 hectares to 94,582.80 hectares. Mangrove area in Berbak Sembilang National Park decreased in the period 1990 to 2005, and increased again in the period 2010 to 2020 because there was a mangrove rehabilitation process carried out especially in the pond area. The results of the 2020 image analysis using the NDVI algorithm and the analysis of leaf canopy photos in the field using GLAMA obtained the appropriate value and included in the category of dense mangroves. Keywords: Mangrove, Change, Landsat, NDVI, GLAM
