SUPLEMENTASI PROBIOTIK PENCERNA SERAT TERHADAP KUALITAS KUALITAS KECERNAAN JERAMI PADI SECARA IN VITRO
the objective of this research was to determined Probiotic Supplementation Digestibility for quality rice straw In vitro. This research was held in laboratory of animal feed and nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture of Sriwijaya University from August to November 2011. Completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 5 replications, rice straw without probiotic (control) (A0), rice straw + probiotic 0,5 v/w (Al), and rice straw + probiotic Mbio 0,5 v/w (A2). Observed parameters were dry matter digestibility (DMD), organic matter digestibility (OMD), and N-ammonia concentration. The data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and if there were any significant different the Duncan range test would be used. This research shown that the highest value of (DMD) is on rice straw + probiotic Mbio 0,5 v/w (A2) is 70,78% while the highest value of organic matter digestibility (OMD) is rice straw + probiotic Mbio 0,5 v/w (A2) is 57,89% and the concentration value N-NH3 is to the straw rice without any action (control) (A0) is 1800 mM. Based on the research it shown that rice straw with probiotic supplementation 0,5 v/w, did not give any influence to the dry matter organic matter digestibility (OMD) and N-amonia concentration (NH3), even though there was a tendency the higher use of using probiotic digestibility fibre there will be increasing of digestibility consumption In vitro.
