The aim of this research was to study the effect addition of phytase to diets of quality of Arabian chicken eggshell in the first production. This research was done on Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul (BPTU) Sapi Dwiguna dan Ayam Petelur Sembawa for six weeks from January - February 2009. This research using completely randomized design (RAL) with six treatments, five replications analysis and each replication consist of three chickens. Respectively observed parameters were eggs and shell weight, shell thickness, and eggshell index. Data were processed as design if any significant result on parameter will carry on Duncan's test. Result shows that additional of phytase out give insignificant result (P>0,05) to weight eggs, thickness shell and eggshell index, but for weight shell thickness out give significant (P
