Research has been conducted on the manufacture of Barium Ferrite magnets using Na2O additives. The composition of the additives used was 1%, 1.5%, 1% Calc and 1.5 Calc with a total mass of 30 grams. Sample preparation was carried out through the powder metallurgy method, with weighing and mixing stages using a ball mill for 3 hours, then the drying process using an oven and continued with the calcination process at a temperature of 1000oC, printing pellets at a diameter of 18 mm and a thickness of 6 mm using a hydraulic press machine at the 8 tonf force is held for 1 minute. Furthermore, the sintering process is carried out using a vacuum furnace at a temperature of 1000oC with a holding time of 1 hour. Tests include density, porosity, magnetic flux, VSM, XRD and SEM measurements. The test results with the addition of additives increase the density and decrease the porosity of the sample through the calcination process or without calcination. Whereas for magnetic flux, the highest magnetic flux was obtained at 415.4 Gauss at 1.5% additive calcination. The VSM test results obtained that the highest remanence, coercivity, and saturation were Mr = 2.192 kG, Hc = 2.806 kOe and Ms = 4.245 kG at 1.5% calcination of additives. The XRD analysis results showed a single phase in the sample with a calcination process. Whereas in the sample without calcination, there were 3 phases, namely the BaFe12O19, Na2O and Fe3O4 phases. The results calculation of crystal size obtained a large size difference ratio of the sample through calcination compared to without calcination. In the SEM test results, there is a cavity width of ±5m - 25m which has a grain size ±2.5m - 10m with various shapes
