This study aimed to determine the physic quality of compost (smell, water content, temperature, color and compos particle size). Compost is the remaining organic material from plants, animals, and organic waste that has undergone a decomposition or fermentation process. Local Microorganisms (MOL) are made from natural materials, as a medium for living and developing microorganisms which are useful for accelerating the destruction of organic matter. Goat dung manure contains 0.97% N, 0.69% P and 1.66% K. Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solm.) is a weed plant in aquatic areas that lives floating in deep water. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the best compost physical properties of water hyacinth and goat manure with the addition of moles of cow rument fluid based on the physical properties of compost. This research was conducted in September - October 2020 at the Organic Fertilizer Research Center, Soil Department and the analysis was conducted Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized factorial design (RALF) with 5 treatments and 2 factors. Based on the results of the processed data of this study showed that the MOL dose of cow’s rumen of 2% gave the best composting process. The combination gave the best composting process is 50% water hyacinth and 50% goat manure gave the best effect. The combination of 50% water hyacinth and 50% goat manure with results MOL dose of cow’s rumen of 2% of particle size 1mm of 50.23%, temperature (31.71ºC), water content (53.87%), color black (10YR 2/1), odor (soil), in accordance with Indonesian national standard for organic compost SNI 19-7030-2004.
