PENGGAMBARAN STRUKTUR BAWAH PERMUKAAN DENGAN METODE TOMOGRAFI (STUDI KASUS : NUSA TENGGARA BARAT DAN SEKITARNYA)
West Nusa Tenggara is prone to earthquakes. This study aims to describe subsurface structure by utilizing earthquake data obtained from the International Seismological Center catalog. The subsurface structures were modelled by tomography technique based on the LOTOS-13 (Local Earthquake Tomography Software) software. The data were utilized for a period of January 2000 December 2020. Estimated velocity models of Vp, Vs, and Vp/Vs ratio interpret the subsurface of the West Nusa Tenggara region and its surroundings. seismicity distribution map indicates that there are active structures in the northern and southern areas of West Nusa Tenggara. In addition, the wave velocity anomaly models indicate faults formed from the meeting of two plates plates in the subduction zone, namely the Indo-Australian plate with the Eurasian plate. Furthermore, an anomaly in the form of a magma chamber which is associated with the Mount Rinjani activities. This area is characterized by negative anomaly exist in depth range of 0-15 km.
