ANALISIS SISTEM KMUNIKASI SUARA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA TRANSMISI CAHAYA
In the current era, technology has shown a very rapid development. This is evidenced by the large number of communication media, both wireless and wired. In this study, using visible light as a medium in the communication system. The communication system consists of a transmitter (sender) and a receiver (receiver) device. The transmitter device consists of a signal generator as an input signal to the transmitter circuit, an amplifier, a resistor, and an LED (Light Emitting Diode) as the output of the transmitter device. LEDs are used in three variations of 0.5 Watt, 1 Watt, and 3 Watt. Whereas the receiver device consists of a phototransistor as the input for the receiver device, buck converter, amplifier, and loudspeaker as the output of the communication system with the signal displayed through the oscilloscope. The purpose of this research is to design a voice communication system using light transmission media and to analyze the quality of the signal produced with different distances and power. The test was carried out in two conditions, namely in a dark place and a bright place. The instrument system designed has been tested and the maximum distance limit results obtained in a dark place are LED 0.5 Watt 5 cm, 1 Watt 7 cm, and 3 Watt 15 cm. While the maximum distance limit in the bright place is Led 0.5 Watt 3 cm, 1 Watt 5 cm, and 3 Watt 10 cm.
