MODIFIKASI SINTESIS ION IMPRINTED POLYMERS (IIPS) DAN SISTEM INSTRUMENTASI POTENSIOMETRI: MATERIAL CERDAS SELEKTIF ADSORBSI ION METAL FE (III)
This research comprehensively discusses two topics simultaneously, firstly modifying material ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) as a smart material for Fe(III) adsorbent and further optimizing it as a sensor for metal ion determination of Fe(III) based on potentiometric instrumentation. Fe (III) IIPs have been successfully synthesized by the latest cooling-heating method by integrating ferric nitrate as template formation, MAA as functional monomer, and EGDMA as crosslinker. The polymer of Fe(III), NIPs, and IIPs Fe(III) were fully characterized using XRD, FTIR, and SEM in analyzing the crystallinity structure, percent transmittance of functional groups, and imaging the surface morphology of the sample to the number of pores formed. IIPs Fe (III) material has an adsorption capacity of 1 mg-1 for metal ions Fe (III) with a percentage removal rate of 99%. Simultaneously, potentiometric instrumentation has been successfully designed using an Arduino nano microcontroller based on Ag/AgCl reference electrodes. Further optimization of the instrumentation is designed to measure temperature and pH parameters of Fe (III) solution with %recovery and %RSD levels of 99.73%-100.98% and 0.0426%-1.797% and has met the applicable standard values with a value of LoQ= 0.19528 mg-1 and LoD= 0.3672 mg-1 in the Fe3+ concentration range 1-10 mgL-1.
