Physical soil is one of the factors that affect the value of soil erosion in addition to vegetation management, organic matter and slope. Land use transformation is very influential on land degradation and erosion height. This study aims to analyze the output results in the form of maps of erosion-prone areas on the Lematang Riverbank and analyze the level of erosion hazard on the Lematang Riverbank as an effort to prevent disaster mitigation in the area. This research was conducted in the District of Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir using 4 types of parameters including land use, soil type, rainfall and slope. The erosion value is calculated according to using the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method. The results of the study show that the study area has erosion from very light to very heavy. On the erosion map there are various classes of erosion numbers, ranging from 480. The area in the safe zone is on the north side of the map and the dangerous area in this area is not large, only 0.03%.
