Preparation of calcium oxide from chicken and goat bones through decomposition thermal at various temperatures at 400°C, 500°C, 700°C, 800°C, 900°C, 1000°C, 1100°C has been carried out. The CaO from decomposition was characterized by XRD. The results of XRD diffraction pattem shown of decomposisition thermal at 1100°C has similar XRD pattem with CaO Standard from JCPDS. The 20 values are 34.2°, 37.3°, 58.3°, 64.1°, and 67.3°. Calcium oxide was characterized by FT-IR which showed the existence of CaO at wave number 354,90 cm"1. The chicken and goat bones decomposition thermal at 1100°C was applied in biodiesel synthesis from waste cooking oil by transesterication reaction. The biodiesel product catalyzed by chicken bones has viscosity value 5.906 mm2/s while density value 0.8789 g/cm3. Biodiesel from goat bones as catalyst has viscosity and density 6.337 mm2/s and 0.87985 g/cm3 respectively.
