PREDIKSI CURAH HUJAN DI PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN DENGAN UJI AKURASI SKEMA KUMULUS GRELL 3D ENSEMBLE PADA MODEL PENELITIAN DAN PERAMALAN CUACA WRF-ARW
To estimate the effect that has a sufficiently large influence from an atmospheric event that is too complex to be explained explicitly, a variable approach is carried out or estimated with other variables that have lower resolution. Several physical component approaches (parametrization) are used such as radiation, boundary layer, landsurface, eddy diffusion, convective and, microphysics. In this assessment, an accuracy test of the use of the GD cumulus scheme (Grell 3D ensemble) was carried out on the WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model for weather prediction in South Sumatra Province. The WRF data input used is data from the GFS (Global Forecast System) with a temporal resolution of 3 hours from the results of processing the WRF model and TRMM satellite data during the period from December 2018 to January 2019 in the South Sumatra Region. To show the accuracy of the data, data validation was carried out using a dichotomy test and statistical test. From the results of data validation for the WRF model output for the GD cumulus scheme (Grell 3D ensemble) it is still not able to do well in rainfall.
