This study aims to analyze the effect of working capital components consisting of cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover on profitability consisting of return on assets, return on equity and net profit margin in the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling technique so that the research sample amounted to 35 companies with a research period from 2018-2020. This research design is explanatory with causal method. The results showed that partially cash turnover had no effect on profitability, accounts receivable turnover had a positive and significant effect on profitability, inventory turnover had an effect on return on assets and return on equity and inventory turnover had no effect on net profit margin. Meanwhile, simultaneously working capital components such as cash turnover, inventory turnover and accounts receivable turnover have a positive and significant effect on profitability.
