La-Niña adalah suatu kondisi dimana terjadi penurunan suhu muka laut atau SST (Sea Surface Temperature) di kawasan Timur equator di Lautan Pasifik dari rata-ratanya. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh fenomena La-Niña terhadap curah hujan di Kota Palembang dengan rentang waktu selama 10 tahun (2011-2020). Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) Stasiun Meteorologi II Kota Palembang. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bantuan program Software Microsoft Excel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan klimatologi Kota Palembang yaitu sebesar 2599,4 mm/tahun. Selama 10 tahun (2011-2020) fenomena La-Niña terjadi pada tahun 2011-2012 dan pada tahun 2020, dengan persentase curah hujan Kota Palembang saat La-Niña 2011-2012 yaitu sebesar 29% di atas normal, 28% normal, dan 43% di bawah normal. Sedangkan persentase curah hujan Kota Palembang saat La-Niña 2020 yaitu sebesar 20% di atas normal, 20% normal, dan 60% di bawah normal. Kata Kunci: Curah Hujan, La-Niña, Kota Palembang. THE EFFECT OF THE LA-NIÑA PHENOMENON ON RAINFALL IN PALEMBANG CITY Oleh: RIFA JENIA MAWADDAH NIM.08021281722030 ABSTRACT La-Niña is a condition where there is a decrease in sea surface temperature or SST (Sea Surface Temperature) in the east of the equator in the Pacific Ocean from its average. This study aims to analyze the effect of the La-Niña phenomenon on rainfall in Palembang City with a span of 10 years (2011-2020). The data used in this study was obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Meteorology Station II Palembang City. Data processing in this study was carried out with the help of Microsoft Excel software program. The results of the analysis show that the climatological rainfall of Palembang City is 2599.4 mm/year. For 10 years (2011-2020) the La-Niña phenomenon occurred in 2011-2012 and in 2020, with the percentage of rainfall in Palembang City during La-Niña 2011-2012 which was 29% above normal, 28% normal, and 43 % below normal. Meanwhile, the percentage of rainfall in Palembang City during La-Niña 2020 is 20% above normal, 20% normal, and 60% below normal. Keywords: Rainfall, La-Niña, Palembang City.
