PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DENGAN MEDIA EXPLOSION BOX TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU HAMIL DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN STUNTING
The nutritional status of pregnant women can have an impact on the health and development of the fetus in the womb. A result of poor nutritional status in pregnant women can cause the child's body to be shorter than children his age (stunting). Lack of knowledge of pregnant women during their pregnancy about good nutrition is the cause of lack of nutrition for pregnant women. One of the efforts that can increase the knowledge of pregnant women about good nutrition is through health education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education using explosion box media on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women in preventing stunting in the work area of Pegayut Health Center Palembang. This study uses a quantitative design with an approach pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design without a control group. Sampling in this study using probability sampling method with cluster sampling technique with a sample of 30 pregnant women from 45 pregnant women population. Collecting data using a questionnaire. The results of the data analysis of the knowledge variable using the Marginal homogeneity test obtained a p-value = 0.000 and for the attitude variable using the Mc Nemar test, the p-value = 0.003, which means that there is a significant influence between the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women before and after being given health education with explosion media. Media explosion box effectively increases the knowledge and attitude of pregnant women because attractive media can give a good impression of learning as well so that in the learning process it will be easier. The material presented is easy to understand because it uses everyday language. Health center officers and posyandu cadres can improve posyandu programs related to health education methods about stunting with media explosion boxes.
