PENGARUH PERMAINAN EDUKATIF TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP REMAJA PUTRI DALAM PENCEGAHAN ANEMIA
Nutrition is a determining factor in achieving optimal health, but society in Indonesia still face nutritional problems is anemia. Teenage girls are group that is very risk for anemia because their nutritional needs, especially iron essence, increase due to accelerated growth, increased physical activity and the presence of menstruation. The impacts are productivity and academic ability in school decreases, and susceptible to infection. If anemia is not treated in teenage girls, there may be increased risk of anemia during pregnancy. Effort to prevent anemia is to fulfillment of nutritional needs of iron essence. One of the programs in increasing iron essence intake is through nutrition education, so that effort that can be conducted is health education through educational games. This game consists of two rounds, namely random words and matching pairs which are played in groups through the Zoom Meeting application. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of educational game on the knowledge and attitudes of teenage girls in preventing anemia at Az-Zahrah Islamic Senior High School Palembang. The design of research is pre-experimental with one group pre-test & post-test design. The research instrument was a google form questionnaire.The sample in this study were 48 respondents, were collected using total sampling who comply the inclusion criteria, do not comply the exclusion criteria and drop out. Data were analyzed by univariate analysis to determine the knowledge and attitudes of teenage girls before and after health education, while bivariate analysis was used to determine the differences in knowledge and attitudes of teenage girls before and after health education. The results of the knowledge analysis using Marginal Homogeneity showed that there was a significant difference in the knowledge of respondents before and after health education with a p value of 0.000 (p value < 0.05). The results of the attitudes analysis using McNemar showed that there was a significant difference in the attitudes of respondents before and after health education with a p value of 0.000 (p value < 0.05). Health education through the educational game is recommended as a method of health education in order to change knowledge and attitudes in teenage girls.
