Noise is unwanted sound from a business or activity at a certain level and time that can cause health problems and environmental comfort. According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, noise is all unwanted sounds originating from production equipment and or work equipment which at a certain level can cause hearing loss. Noise is any unwanted sound or sound that can interfere with health and safety. The noise level due to traffic on the Palembang Indralaya Toll Road generally passes the Noise Quality Standard issued by the State Ministry of the Environment in 1996) which is 55dB.
