PERANCANGAN DAN SIMULASI RANGKA KENDARAAN PROTOTYPE LISTRIK SAMARATUNGGA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN MATERIAL CARBON FIBER
Electric cars have become a hot topic of discussion in the community because they are considered to have the potential to be developed into future vehicles. In this study, namely designing and analyzing the framework of the Samaratungga electric prototype vehicle, applying carbon fiber materials to the frame and conducting simulations using the Solidwork 2020 application to find out static loading and to find out the position of the load distribution and anywhere. The method used is to start a literature study in the form of measuring objects, based on regulations for the competition for energy-efficient cars and shell eco marathons as well as reference books, journals, and scientific works. After that obtained a frame design that will be given the load as has been assumed. In the simulation process, the dimensions of length 2600 mm, width 260 mm, height 560 mm and pipe size 1 x 0.095 inches are obtained using carbon fiber reinforced plastic composite materials. . stress is 3,934 x 108 N/m2, this value indicates that the design of the frame is categorized as safe when subjected to loading due to the yield strength value of 4,564 x 108 N/m2 and also max. displacement is 3,722 x 10-2m and has received an electric prototype car frame design with a lighter weight than the previous frame using carbon fiber reinforced plastic composite material, which is 4 kg as shown by the 2020 solidwork application
