PENERAPAN METODE DISCRIMINANT ANALYSIS UNTUK MEMPREDIKSI RISIKO PENYAKIT JANTUNG
The heart is a human organ that plays a role in the circulatory system. Heart disease is a condition in which the heart is unable to perform its duties properly. Heart disease is the number one leading cause of death worldwide. In this study will be predicted the risk of heart disease based on age, sex, type of chest pain, lower limit blood pressure, cholesterol, fasting blood sugar, electrocardiography results, maximum heart rate, pain inducing exercises, depression induced by seduous exercise, peak slope of ST segment, number of major blood vessels and type of blood vessel damage to be predicted in the sick or healthy group. This study aims to apply discriminant analysis method in predicting the risk of heart disease. In this study the data is divided into 5 folds and will be tested discriminant function obtained, the error rate is calculated as the average error of 5 fold. The error rate obtained before the discriminant function test is 3.33%. The smallest error rate in discriminant function testing obtained discriminant function formed on fold 3 with an average error rate of 30.09%. While the total average error rate in the data that has been tested discriminant function is 39.83%. This indicates that discriminant function is formed quite well in predicting the risk of heart disease.
