IMPLEMENTASI ALGORITMA GENETIKA PADA PENGOPTIMALAN LOKASI RUMAH SAKIT DAN KLINIK YANG MEMILIKI FASILITAS UGD DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Optimizing a facility’s location has a vital role in providing services to the community as a whole. This research attempted to optimize the location of hospitals and clinics with emergency unit facilities in Palembang. This research formulated the set covering model that includes the Location Set Covering Problem (LSCP) and the P-median Problem, and implemented the Genetic Algorithm. Palembang consists of 18 sub-districts, which are Alang-Alang Lebar, Bukit Kecil, Gandus, Ilir Barat I, Ilir Barat II, Ilir Timur I, Ilir Timur II, Ilir Timur III, Jakabaring, Kalidoni, Kemuning, Kertapati, Plaju, Sako, Seberang Ulu I, Seberang Ulu II, Sematang Borang, and Sukarami. Based on the formulation of the set covering model and implementation of the Genetic Algorithm, there are eight optimal locations to build hospitals and clinics with emergency unit facilities that can meet 18 sub-discrits in Palembang. But from the eight locations, there are several different locations. The eight locations obtained from the set covering model are Alang-Alang Lebar, Gandus, Ilir Barat I, Ilir Timur III, Seberang Ulu I, Seberang Ulu II, Sematang Borang, and Sukarami. At the same time, the eight locations obtained from the implementation of the Genetic algorithm are Bukit Kecil, Ilir Barat II, Ilir Timur I, Ilir Timur II, Ilir Timur III, Kalidoni, Plaju, and Seberang Ulu I. The recommendation will be the utilization of Genetic Algorithm as the optimal locations from the results obtained
