FORMULASI SET COVERING DAN P-MEDIAN PROBLEM SERTA APLIKASI ALGORITMA GENETIKA DALAM MENENTUKAN LOKASI TEMPAT PEMBUANGAN SEMENTARA (TPS) SAMPAH DI KECAMATAN SEBERANG ULU I DAN KECAMATAN KEMUNING
The increase in population every year results in the amount of waste produced. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the landfill location so that it does not cause negative impacts. This study discusses optimizing the location of temporary disposal sites in Seberang Ulu I and Kemuning districts. This research formulated the Set Covering model that includes the Set Covering Location Problem (SCLP) and the P-median Problem and application the Genetic Algorithm. Seberang Ulu I District consists of sixteen temporary disposal sites, and Kemuning District with twenty-four temporary disposal sites. Based on the formulation of the Set Covering model and the application of the Genetic Algorithm, there are twelve optimal locations in Seberang Ulu I District and nine optimal locations in Kemuning District. From the results obtained, the recommended location is the solution from the Genetic Algorithm. The recommendation of temporary disposal sites for Seberang Ulu I Subdistrict includes one in 7 Ulu Village, two in 5 Ulu Village, two in 2 Ulu Village, and three in 1 Ulu Village. The recommendation of temporary disposal sites for Kemuning District includes six in Pahlawan Village, six in 20 Ilir D II Village, and each seven in Pipareja Village, Ario Kemuning Village, and Talang Aman Village.
