Coronary heart disease (CHD) is one of the main parts of cardiovascular disease (heart and blood vessel disease), and is the number one cause of death in the world. Several factors influence CHD, including the diversity of characteristics and symptoms. Therefore, it is necessary to find the main factors that influence it. The purpose of this study was to reduce the factors that influence CHD in dr. Slamet Garut in 2020 with the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method. The population in this study were all inpatients suffering from CHD for the period January-December 2020. The sample in this study was determined using the slovin formula, namely 145 patients. There are 13 factors in this study. Then the MSA feasibility test process was carried out resulting in 9 factors, namely smoking, diabetes mellitus, blood pressure, total cholesterol levels, HDL levels, triglyceride levels, heart rate, CRP and obesity. The use of the AKU method results in the main factor which consists of 3 components. The components, namely component 1, called hypertension and cholesterol, consist of factor of blood pressure, total cholesterol levels, HDL levels and trigliglyceride levels; component 2 is called the malnutrition factor which consists of diabetes millitus, CRP and obesity variables; and component 3 is called the physical examination factor which consists of smoking and heart rate variables. The 3 main components formed are able to explain the total variance of 76,83%
