PERENCANAAN PERSEDIAAN CABAI MERAH PADA TINGKAT PENGECER MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROBABILISTIK EKSPONENSIAL DUA PARAMETER
Inventory is stock or goods that are stored and will be sold in the future. Inventories of goods that are too large too small will hamper activities in the business, so it is necessary to carry out good inventory control. Probabilistic inventory control can address uncertain consumer demand. This thesis discusses the problem of inventory planning for red chili species using a probabilistic inventory model with an exponential distribution of damage levels and Pareto distribution of demand. Demand is a random variable following a Pareto distribution. The red chilies studied were stored at outside temperatures without refrigeration. The longer it is stored at temperatures beyond the level of damage the chili peppers the higher, so it is assumed the extent of damage follows an exponential distribution. Demand for red chilies stored at outside temperatures has limitations so assume the level of demand follows the distribution of Pareto. The purpose of this study was to obtain the optimal value of red chili inventory to minimize the total inventory cost using a two-parameter exponential probabilistic inventory model. The study results obtained the best time to review red chili is 4,5 hours with a maximum supply of 15 kg. The total minimum inventory cost is 117,872.00 IDR
