ANALISIS KUALITATIF DAN KUANTITATIF ASAM LEMAK TAK JENUH OMEGA-3 DARI MINYAK IKAN PATIN (Pangasius pangasius) DENGAN METODE KROMATOGRAFI GAS
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of polyunsaturated fatty acid Omega-3 from Pangasius fish oil by Gas Chromatography have been carried out. The result of analysis showed that contents of Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid in Pangasius fish oil were 1,16-12,44%. From this value, Pangasius fish oil can be used as alternative source of Omega-3. In this research, characterization of Pangasius fish oil also done including analysis of oil value, acid value, saponification value, and peroxide value by using National Standardization Department method. The average oil value, acid value, saponification value and peroxide value obtained fforn Pangasius fish oil with 650-870 grams in weight were 3,827%, 3,667-19,521 mg KOH/gr, 91,319-192,656 mg KOH/gr and 0,778-17,78 mek/kg, respectively.
