ABSTRACT EFFECT OF CAREER DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE CV. TIRA SELATAN PALEMBANG By: Dita Khafifah This study examines the effect of career development on employee performance CV. South Tira Palembang. The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of Career Development on employee performance CV. South Tira Palembang. The type of research data used is quantitative data. The data sources of this study used primary data obtained through questionnaires and simple linear regression analysis methods as data analysis techniques. The population of this study were all employees of CV. South Tira Palembang, which has 56 employees and 1 president director with a total of 57 people. The sample in this study was taken from all employees and including the main director of CV.Tira Selatan Palembang, totaling 57 people, which used the census technique. The questionnaire data collection period is 3 months, namely September-November 2021 and then the questionnaire data is processed using the SPSS version 22 program. The results of the analysis in this study are based on hypothesis testing that has been carried out showing that career development has a positive and significant influence on the performance of CV employees. South Tira Palembang. Therefore, suggestions that can be given to improve employee performance are expected that the company can conduct periodic evaluations of career development such as transfers and promotions and adjusted to employee education and training so that performance can be more effective with results that can exceed targets and can increase every year.
