The ability of some grasses in phytoremediation of petroleum waste PT Pertamina UBEP Limau Prabumulih South Sumatra has been conducted on July until September 2009, at green house and Laboratory of plant physiology, Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty, Sriwijaya University. The aim of this research was to know the ability of some grasses in phytoremediation petroleum hydrocarbon on crude oil concentration to know the ability of some type grass in petroleum at various concentration, is seen from value degradation of TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon), wet weight of crop, and morphological character. Attempt device used Completely Randomize Design (CRD) have factorial pattem to consisted of 2 factor that crude oil concentrations and various type grass 20 treatment with 2 times repeatment that control (0%), 2.5% , 5%, 7.5% and 10% crude oil and grass type of Cyperus kyllingia, Cynodon dactylon, Eleusine indica dan Fimbristylis acuminata. The result of research showed interaction about various concentrations of crude oil with grass type the influential with wet weight C. kyllingia, C. dactylon, E. indica dan F. Acuminata. F. acuminata dan C. kyllingia grass growth optimum on 2.5% with wet weight 85.2 g dan 98.9 g. C. dactylon grass in 5% with wet wight 112.1 g and E. indica in 7.5% with wet weight 125.1 g. The treatment of crude oil concentration showed the influential to decrease TPH, that was treatment (2.5%) 1.35%; (5%) 2.41%; (7.5%) 5.57% dan (10%) 6.95%. The use of grass and interaction between concentrations of crude oil with grass type do not directly give effect in hydrocarbon degradation with the result that non influential to decrease of TPH. Growth character of plant morphology, a considerable part of leaf clorosis, shoot and side leaf shink and happened reduction length root. c'
