EFEKTIVITAS PENEKANAN PENYAKIT REBAH SEMAI CABAI MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN-BAHAN ALAMI
The objective of this study was to know the effectivity of natural products to suppress chili seeds damping-off on seedling of chilli peper. The research was conducted in Phytopathology Laboratory and Green House of Plant Pests and Diseases Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from January up to July 2008. The natural products that used in this study consisted of Trichoderma ammended compost, extract of Trichoderma ammended compost, neem seeds oil suspended shrimp shell compost extract (SSCE), for comparison, seedlings also were treated with difenokonazol fungicide and water as control. Experimental was arranged in 4 replications, each replication consisted of 72 seedlings. The result showed that tested natural products were less effective in suppression of damping-off on seedling of chili pepper. The highest suppression (34.2% relative to non treated) was achieved by treatment of Trichoderma ammended compost.
