PENAMBAHAN SERBUK BUAH Avicennia marina TERHADAP LAJU PERTUMBUHAN IKAN BAWAL BINTANG (Trachinotus blochii, Lacepede) PADA SKALA LABORATORIUM
Feeding on fish farming technology should consider the various aspects that are efficient, effective, environmentally friendly and safe fish produced for consumers. aquaculture activities in ponds must be firee of heavy metal content, anlibiotics and bacterial pathogens. The purpose of this study was to determine graduation life {Survival Rate) and growth rate on silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii, Lacepede) after bcing given the addition of powdered fruit mangrove Avicennia marina. This research has been carried out starting in May 2011 – July study was a laboratory experimental study using experimental design using a completcly randomized design . With 4 treatments, P1 = 1 as a treatment (control), P2 = Treatment 2 as a test of the fruit powder A. marina (lOgr/lOOgr feed), P3 = treatment 3 as a test of the fruit powder A. marina (20gr/100gr feed), P4 = 4 as a test treatment of fruit powder A. marina (30gr/1 OOgr feed). survival rates ranging between 52.38% - 90.47%. The lowest level in P4 is 52.38% treatment and the highest survival rates in the treatment of P3 (90.47). Growth in the absolute weight of P4 treatment results obtained with the highest growth in absolute weight of 46.59 grams and treatment of P1 with the lowest value of 45.08 grams. The growth of the absolute length of treatment is the highest P1 6.79 cm and 5.72 cm ie P4 treatment terendah.B uah A. Marina has ftdfilkd a nced for incrcased survival rates and heavy growth but not for long growth.
