PENGARUH PENGATURAN VARIASI ARUS LAS TERHADAP HASIL PENGUJIAN KEKERASAN DAN LAJU KOROSI PADA PLAT BESI
This study analyzes the effect of setting variations in welding current on the hardness and corrosion rate of iron plate. The contribution of this research is to know the results of hardness testing with or without treatment and the corrosion rate with immersion times of 6, 12 and 18 hours. To validate the results, the plate model was treated with no treatment while the corrosion rate of the plate was immersed at different times. The results obtained from the calculation that the use of hardness against VHN with treatment without treatment is the highest that can be achieved at a welding current variation of 50.75 and 100A is influenced by the electrodes used and the setting of the weld variation. Meanwhile, the corrosion rate against immersion with a time of 6 hours, 12 hours and 18 hours. hours is affected by the density of the iron plate.
