KONSENTRASI LETAL (LC50-48 JAM) LOGAM TEMBAGA (Cu) DAN LOGAM KADMIUM (Cd) TERHADAP TINGKAT MORTALITAS JUWANA KUDA LAUT (Hippocampus spp)
The aim of this research was to find out the level of copper and cadmium metals toxicity by deterraining value LC50 - 48 hours to sea horses, therefore we can know the concentration value that is required to eradicated 50% of test organism. This research used experimental laboratories as the method by giving 6 various concentration for every metal, for metal Cu : 0 ppm, 1,584 ppm, 2,509 ppm, 3,974 ppm, 6,294 ppm, 9,968 ppm and metal Cd : 0 ppm, 0,1585, 0,2512 ppm, 0,3981 ppm, 0,6308 ppm, 0,9999 ppm. The treatment preceded by acclimatization procedure to the subjects. The subjects were then treated with increasing concentration order for 48 hours. The amount of the dead subjects were ploted to concentration of metal given and got positive relationship for Cu (r2 = 0,5879) with linear regression equation Y = 3,6979 + 3,9063X wich applicable to calculate LC50 value and yield equal to 2,11 ppm. The relationship for Cd (r2 = 0,6126) with linear regression equation Y = 6,6050 + 3,4171X and the LC50 derived from the regression equation was 0,36 ppm.
