TINGKAT KELULUSAN HIDUP LARVA TERIPANG PASIR (Holothuria scabra) DENGAN PERLAKUAN PEMBERIAN PAKAN ALAMI BERBEDA DI BALAI BESAR PENGEMBANGAN BUDIDAYA LAUT (BBPBL) LAMPUNG
Accuracy in food on planktonic stadium of larvae was main successful support in sea cucumber (Holothuria scabra) cultivation until juvenile and adult stadium. The aim of this reaserch are to know kind’s of food consumed by larvae, and to know survival rate of sea cucumber larvae. This reaserch had been conducted during November to December 2008 at Seeding Laboratory of Sea Cucumber Balai Besar Pengembangan Budidaya Laut (BBPBL) Lampung. Sea cucumber larvae maintained in plastic case with 1 liter sea water during planktonic stadium. Isochrysis sp., Tetraselmis sp., Chaetoceros sp., and Nannochloropsis sp., were given to sea cucumber larvae with three repetition. Temperature, salinity, pH, and Dissolve Oxygen (DO) were observated. This reaserch showed that Chaetoceros sp. had the highest average survival rate value, 6.083% followed by Isochrysis sp., 1.083%. Treatment Tetraselmis sp., and Nannochloropsis sp., had no survival rate value.
