UJI KINERJA MESIN PENGGILING KACANG TANAH TIPE ULIR PADA PERLAKUAN JUMLAH MATA PISAU DAN KECEPATAN PUTAR (RPM).
This study aims to determine the performance of the peanut grinding machine against various treatments of the number of blades and rotational speed (RPM). This research was conducted from November 2020 to December 2020 at the Bukit Agricultural Campus, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Palembang, South Sumatra. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) with 2 treatment factors and was repeated three times. The first factor of this research is the rotational speed of ± 400 rpm (A1), ± 500 rpm (A2), and ± 600 rpm (A3), while the second factor is the number of blades (B1) 2 (B2) 3, and (A3). 4. Parameters observed in this study include effective engine capacity, fuel requirements, milling efficiency. The results of this study indicate that the highest effective engine capacity is found in treatment A3B1, namely the rotational speed of ± 600 rpm and the number of blades 2 of 42.82 kg/hour. In treatment A3B1 the rotational speed of ± 600 the number of blades 2 has the lowest fuel consumption with an average fuel consumption of 0.67 liters/hour. Meanwhile, the highest percentage of milling efficiency is found in the Atreatment,3B1 namely the rotational speed of ± 600 rpm and the number of blades which is 3.52%. Meanwhile, the highest percentage of material fineness is found in the A3B1 treatment, namely the rotational speed of ± 600 rpm and the number of blades 2 which is 0.10%.
