RESPON BIBIT KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) TERHADAP KOMPOS PELEPAH KELAPA SAWIT DARI KOMPOSISI DEKOMPOSER DAN BIOAKTIVATOR BERBEDA
The purposes of this research were and ERIZAL SODIKIN ). to obtain an effective decomposer bioactivator for production compost from oil palm frond and to obtain the bes t compost for the growth of oil palm seedlings . This research was carried from out October 2020 to February 2021 in Research Station of Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra 104º38’52”E) . This study use (3º12’17”S d a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 9 treatments, namely K0 (2 kg frond powder), K1 (2 kg frond powder + 50 g of brown sugar), K2 (2 kg frond powder), K3 (2 kg frond powder + 100 g bioslurry + 0 g brown sugar), K4 (2 kg frond powder + 100 g bioslurry + 50 g brown sugar), K5 (2 kg frond powder + 100 g g bioslurry + 100 g brown sugar), K6 (2 kg frond powder + 150 g bioslurry + 0 g brown sugar), K7 (2 kg frond powder + 150 g bioslurry + 50 g brown sugar), and K8 (2 kg frond powder + 150 g bioslurry + 100 br own sugar). Each treatments was replicated times so that the total treatment ware 36 units. Data were analyzed by using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued with 5% LSD test. The results showed that oil palm frond compost with the different compositi on of decomposers and bioactivators had an effect on the composting process. The K3 formula produces compost with a C/N ratio of 18 with Ntotal of 1.85%. K3 treatment of oil palm frond compost increase the growth of oil palm seedlings with aged from 10 to 13 months. Oil palm frond compost with bioslurry waste decomposer has met the criteria of SNI09 to oil palm nurseries.70302004, so it can be applied to oil palm nurseries.
