EVALUASI PENGGUNAAN OBAT PADA PASIEN NEFROPATI DIABETIK DI INSTALASI RAWAT INAP RS ISLAM SITI KHADIJAH KOTA PALEMBANG
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia. Diabetes mellitus can cause various chronic complications, one of which is diabetic nephropathy. Treatment for diabetic nephropathy includes controlling blood sugar levels, controlling blood pressure, treating dyslipidemia, and treating anemia. This study aims to determine the accuracy of drug use in diabetic nephropathy patients at the inpatient installation of Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital Palembang for the period April 2018 - March 2019. The data obtained were 37 samples that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that the criteria for patients based on gender were 56.76% for women and 43.24% for men. Based on the patient's age criteria, diabetic nephropathy mostly occurs in the late elderly (56-65 years) by 51.35%. The profile of drug use that is widely prescribed by doctors is the combination of insulin Lantus® and Novorapid® by 27.03%, the combination of ARB with CCB by 33.33%, atorvastatin by 44.44%, and aspirin by 31.03%. Evaluation of drug use in diabetic nephropathy patients is known to be 100% correct in diagnosis, 100% correct indication, 93.55% correct drug, 98.85% correct dose, 100% correct route of administration, and 100% free of side effects alert.
