ANALISIS TINGKAT RESIDU PESTISIDA PADA TANAMAN TIMUN (Cucumis sativus L.) SETELAH PERENDAMAN MENGGUNAKAN GARAM (NaCl) (STUDI KASUS: DESA TANJUNG PERING KECAMATAN INDRALAYA UTARA KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR)
Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is a type of fruit vegetable plant that is in great demand and consumed by the public. Cucumbers are usually consumed in the form of raw or fresh vegetables. In an effort to increase or control the yield and quality of cucumbers from attacks by Plant Pest Organisms, farmers use chemical pesticides. The use of these chemical pesticides can leave residues that are harmful to human health. This study aims to determine the pesticide residues contained in cucumbers according to the Maximum Residue Limit (BMR) based on the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture no. 53 PERMENTAN/KR.040/12/2018 and how to apply pesticides to cucumber farmers. The study was conducted on cucumber farmers' land in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency and testing for pesticide residues was carried out at the PT. Saraswanti Indo Genetech (SIG) Bogor, from July to December 2021. The method used in this study used primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the method of applying pesticides by farmers was not in accordance with 5 appropriate. In the results of the analysis of pesticide residues at the PT. Saraswanti Indo Genetech (SIG) Bogor showed imidacloprid residue levels in control cucumber exceeded the BMR of 1.2 mg/kg. Meanwhile, after soaking in salt (NaCl) the residual imidacloprid content was reduced to 0.5 mg/kg and E.coli was found to be 0.24 MPN/g. In immersion pesticide residues decreased to 0.5 mg/kg and E. coli did not pass the BMR so it was safe for consumption.
