Rice surplus is the amount of surplus rice marketed by farming families in Jagaraja Village. The objectives of this study were: 1) Calculating the amount of rice consumed and sold (marketable surplus) by rice farmers in Jagaraja Village, Rantau Panjang District 2) Analyzing the factors that affect the marketable surplus in Jagaraja Village, Rantau Panjang District and 3) Analyzing the most elastic factors that affect the marketable surplus in Jagaraja Village, Ratau Panjang District. The research location was in Jagaraja Village, Rantau Panjang District. The research method used is a survey method. The sampling method used a random sampling method with 37 respondents. The data collected in this study were primary and secondary data. The results showed that the marketable surplus of rice was 1,504.40 kg per cultivated area per year with a percentage of 70.98 percent of the production marketed by farmers. Then 615.19 kg or 29.02 percent of the farmers' rice production is used to meet the total consumption needs of farmers' households so that if the total production results are 2,120.19 kg per arable area per year. The factors that significantly influence the marketable surplus of rice are land area, number of family members and production. Meanwhile, rice price, total household income, education of the head of the family, and dominant gender did not significantly affect the marketable surplus of rice in Jagaraja Village. The elasticity of each factor on the marketable surplus of all variables in this study is inelastic. The variable that has the highest elasticity value is the variable number of production results, which is 0.023, meaning that when the number of production increases by 1 percent, the Marketable Surplus of rice farmers in Jagaraja Village will increase by 0.023 percent.
