EFEKTIVITAS BIO-INSEKTISIDA BERBAHAN AKTIF Bacillus thuringiensis PADA MEDIA LIMBAH PERTANIAN DENGAN PENAMBAHAN TWEEN 80 TERHADAP Spodoptera litura (LEPIDOPTERA:NOCTUIDAE) di LABORATORIUM
Spodoptera litura is a polyphagous species of insect pest causes great damage to plants and can attack many species of plants. The development of bioinsecticides of Bacillus thuringiensis bacteria can produce crystal proteins that contain toxins to specific target insects. This research was conducted from May to November 2021. In this study was used a factorial completely randomized design (RALF), with two factors, namely the bioinsecticide media factor and the surfactant factor, with five replications. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the addition of surfactant Tween 80 at a dose of 1% on various waste media as a bioinsecticide with the active ingredient B. thuringiensis in controlling S. litura larvae. The results showed addition of 1% surfactant to B. thuringiensis-based bioinsecticides did not affect the average mortality of tested insects. Application of bioinsecticides with different media showed similar mortality of tested insects in all media of B. thuringiensis.
