The observation was done on CPO transportation from PT Perkebunan Mitra Ogan to PT Sinar Alam Permai. The objective of this research was to evaluate the quality of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) from palm oil plant to the point of destination at the distance of 245 km. The research was held on March 2009 to April 2009 at Chemical Laboratory of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The method used in the study was survey method to obtain the primary data. The CPO samples were obtained on the different days at three different times of loading at the point of origin and the point of destination. Times of loading were classified into three times : 09.00 - 12.00 am, 12.00 - 03.00 am and 03.00 - 06.00 pm. The result of this research showed quality degradation on CPO samples during transportation. The highest moisture content increase from 0,181 to 0,299% on time of loading at 09.00 - 12.00 am, free fatty acid increase from 3,321% to 3,55% time of loading at 09.00 - 12.00 am, and Peroxide Value increase from 2,928 mEq to 3,580 mEq on time of loading at 03.00 - 06.00 pm.
