ANALISIS RISIKO KESEHATAN PAPARAN(NO2 DAN SO2) UDARA AMBIEN DAN GANGGUAN PERNAPASAN PADA MASYARAKAT DI WILAYAH KEMAS RINDO KOTA PALEMBANG
Nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide are air pollutant gases that have a real impact on health, namely on breathing. The Kemas Rindo area is one of the areas with traffic density with the number of vehicles as many as 1,500 units per week. People who live in the Kemas Rindo area, precisely on the side of the road, are the most affected people. This study aims to analyze the ambient air (NO2 and SO2) in the area of Jl. Ki Kemas Rindo Palembang and respiratory problems in the surrounding community. This research is descriptive with a cross sectional approach. The sample of respondents was done by purposive sampling technique of 25 respondents. The variables studied were age, length of stay, smoking habits, and Body Mass Index. The data were analyzed using the Public Health Risk Analysis (ARKL) method. ARKL results show that people living in the area are not safe with SO2 concentrations. ARKL results show that 14 respondents (56%) had respiratory problems with the majority of respondents aged >20 years (100%), length of stay >20 years (64%), 17 non-smokers (68%), and mass index. Normal body as many as 17 people (68%). The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the ambient quality (NO2 and SO2) in the Kemas Rindo Palembang area still meets the quality standard, but there is an RQ> 1 for both NO2 and SO2 parameters so that the risk level is not safe. It is recommended that there be efforts to control air pollution caused by motorized vehicle activities by planting plants that can reduce ambient air pollution
