Difficulty eating is a refusing behavior when consuming a type of food that usually occurs in children with the amount and type based on age. Difficulty eating can cause children to lack micro and macronutrients that can interfere with physical growth, namely low weight and height and impaired cognitive growth. The purpose of the study was to look at the behavior of mothers in food selection with the incidence of difficulty eating in toddlers. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. With 36 informants consisting of 18 mothers with toddlers aged 12-36 months and representatives from neighbors 18 people. Selection of informants based on the principle of suitability and adequacy of information. The results showed that the mothers had good knowledge and understanding. there is 1 toddler with a frequency of eating
