Anemia is a common health problem for school-age children. Low iron intake is the most common cause of childhood anemia. Anemia can result in impaired physical growth and lower resistance. The study was to analyze iron intake and zinc intake relationships with school children's anemia. The study is an analtic observational study with a cross-sectional design. Checking hb levels to account for anemia, enough to know iron intake was performed using a 3x24 hour recall food. The sample in this study has as many as 80 elementary school children using simple randomly sampled methods to five schools in the work district of the beliti water center. Hb tests were obtained that 45.0% of children are anemic, while food recall shows 57.5% children had low iron intake and less 67.5% zinc intake. Statistical tests revealed a meaningful link between iron intake and the incidence of anemia in elementary school - age children (ds) (p= 0.008; OR = 2.217), and no near related zinc intake to the incidence of school anemia in musi rawas district beliti working region. Studies suggest iron intake is closely related to the occurrence of anemia in schoolchildren. Children who have iron intake fewer than 3,970 times are at risk of anemia. Hence, it is recommended for parents to be able to keep balanced nutritional intake and iron rich and zinc to prevent children from having anemia. For the ministry of education and socialization of parents about balanced foods and foods that contain iron and zinc for schoolchildren
