Introduction: 2021, 59 Pages) Malignant ovarian tumor is one of the most common malignancies in women and has high mortality rate. Globocan report in 2018 showed the worldwide incidence of malignant ovarian tumor is 5.7 per 100,000 with mortality rate of 4 per 100,000. One contributing factor for the high mortality rate is inadequate early detection methods caused by high hetero geneity of immune cells in malignant ovarian tumor microenvironment (TME) which also causing decreased treatment success rate, espe cially TumorAssociated Macrophages (TAMs) that highly influence tumor growth and development. However, the depiction of TAMs infiltration in TME varies corresponding to the patient’s clinicohistopatology. This research aimed to recognize the difference of TAMs infiltration in TME based on clinicohistopathology of malignant ovarian tumor patients. Methods: This research is an analytical observational research with cross sectional design using paraffin block from malignant ovarian tumor tissue i n Pathology Anatomy Laboratorium and secondary data in the form of medical records from Medical Record Instalation in RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang with purposive sampling method. Results: Sample consist of 62 malignant ovarian tumor tissue. Analytica l result using chi square test and likelihood ratio test as an alternative indicate no significant difference between variables in this research (p > 0,05). Conclusion: TAMs density is higher in late stage cases. In HGSC, TAMs tend to gathered in tumor isl et, contrary to MOC. Nevertheless, there is no significant difference between TAMs density in TME based on the clinicohistopathology of malignant ovarian tumor patients
