PERBANDINGAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN ANTARA PASIEN PASCAOPERASI DENGAN ANESTESI UMUM DAN ANESTESI SPINAL DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG OKTOBER 2021
Anesthesia is a technique to relieve pain in patients undergoing surgery. Anesthesia consist of general and spinal (regional) anesthesia. There are side effects of administration of the anesthesia that affect the level of patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is part of the quality of the results and the degree of feeling of a patient after comparing the expectation and the result that patient expected. Patient satisfaction is an important factor in developing anesthetic services. Based on the information above, it is very important to conduct this study to compare the level of patient satisfaction with general anesthesia and spinal anesthesia. This study also to determine whether there is a relationship between satisfaction levels based on the dimensions of the questionnaire in postoperative patients with general anesthesia and spinal anesthesia at the Inpatient Installation of Dr. RSUP. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang October 2012. This study is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design and using a consecutive sampling method based on the specific characteristics of the population, subjects selected based on inclusion criteria. The data collected is primary data obtained from filling out questionnaires by postoperative patients with general anesthesia and spinal anesthesia at the Inpatient Installation of Dr. RSUP. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang was willing to fill out the questionnaire. Respondents consisted of 116 postoperative patients, 58 general anesthesia, and 58 spinal anesthesia. The analysis was carried out using the SPSS program and data analyses were performed using univariate and bivariate (chi-square test). The majority of respondents were very satisfied with the comfort, services of health workers, pain felt by postoperative patients, waiting time for surgery, and privacy while in the recovery room. All variables of comfort, health care services, waiting time for surgery, privacy in the inpatient room, and satisfaction did not have a significant relationship with the type of anesthesia given (p-value> 0.05).
