The research of liquid waste PT. PUSRI treatment by using coagulant of alum and activated carbon had been done.The purpose of this research was to determine decrease of ammonia concentration in liquid waste of PT. PUSRI. Optimum condition with the addition coagulant of alum was obtained in 2 g weight, the contact time was 45 minutes with the decrease of ammonia concentration which was equal to 67.9, the beginning pH waste was 9.4 with the optimum condition of alum change pH become 3.8 and also the COD of decrease which was equal to 72.6%. The decrease of ammonia concentration with the addition of activated carbon obtained in lg weight, the contact time was 15 minutes with the decrease of ammonia concentration which was equal to 33.95, pH 9.2 and COD of degradation equal to 11.17%.
